These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of dtlavisuals.com (the "Site") and your booking and use of studios and services provided by DTLA Visuals Studios ("DTLA Visuals," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or booking with us, you agree to these Terms.
Our services
DTLA Visuals operates photo and film rental studios across two Downtown Los Angeles locations, including 719 S Los Angeles St, Los Angeles, CA 90014, and offers related services such as curation, casting and crew coordination, and creative direction. Studio features, rates, capacities, and availability are described on the Site and may change.
Bookings and payment
To request a booking, submit the details through our booking or contact forms. A request is not confirmed until we approve it and any required payment is received. Some studios are quoted by request. A cleaning fee applies per booking, and minimum booking durations apply as stated on each studio's page.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Guests may cancel their booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund, including all fees, of their booking price. Guests may cancel their booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and will receive a 50% refund, excluding fees, of their booking price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the event start time are not refundable. No-shows are charged in full. Any specific terms provided at the time of booking will control if they differ from this summary.
Use of the studios
You agree to use the studios responsibly and lawfully, to stay within the stated capacity, and to leave the space in the condition you found it. You are responsible for any loss or damage to the studio, furnishings, or equipment caused by you or your guests during your booking. Unsafe, illegal, or unauthorized activities are prohibited, and we may end a booking that violates these Terms or endangers people or property.
Marketing communications
If you opt in, we may send you marketing emails and, with your express consent, marketing text messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of booking. You can opt out of email at any time via the unsubscribe link, and out of SMS by replying STOP. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
Intellectual property
The Site and its contents, including text, photography, graphics, logos, and design, are owned by DTLA Visuals or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content or marks without our prior written permission.
Disclaimers
The Site and our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DTLA Visuals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Site or our services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DTLA Visuals and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the studios or the Site, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site or services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site or our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
