Last month a beauty brand took over PARISIAN CHIC MODERN for a full campaign day. With their permission, here's the timeline, because nothing explains a studio like watching it work.
8:00am, Load-in
Freight elevator, event load-ins coordinated with our team in advance. Gear up in twenty minutes. Soft, diffused daylight was already filling the room through the tall windows, even and shadowless, so the photographer skipped test shots and went straight to work.
9:30am, Two sets, one room
Over 2,500 square feet split cleanly: product tabletop by the tall windows, talent looks against the Parisian panel detailing. The dressing area kept wardrobe changes off the floor, and the room's generous wall runs meant the crew could rig their own lighting on the tabletop side without touching the natural light on the talent side.
2:00pm, The room fills up
By early afternoon the full set was moving: client rows, video village, a rotating cast of talent, and the room never felt it. At 45-person capacity, Parisian Chic Modern is DTLA Visuals' biggest room, built for exactly this kind of day, small teams shoot here too, but scaling up is where it earns its keep.
6:15pm, Wrap
Forty people in and out, 300+ selects, zero overtime. The $35 cleaning fee covered the reset; the crew covered dinner. The campaign shipped three weeks later, you've probably scrolled past it.
